Duwana: A Story of Hope
Meet Duwana, a 14-year-old girl from Sudan who lost both her parents in the conflict. When we found her, she was living with distant relatives who couldn't afford to send her to school. Through our education sponsorship program, Duwana is now one of 300+ students receiving full support — including tuition, uniforms, and all learning materials until she completes school. Her excellent grades have already qualified her for consideration in our international university pathway program.

Today, Duwana attends school regularly and is at the top of her class in mathematics. Her story is just one example of how your support transforms lives — whether through emergency food aid, shelter, or education scholarships that open doors to global opportunities.
The Ahmed Family: Rebuilding in Kenya
The Ahmed family fled Sudan with nothing but the clothes on their backs. After months in temporary shelters, we helped them resettle in a Kenyan refugee camp with food packages, a weather-resistant tent, and basic household items.
The father, Ibrahim, now works in the camp's community garden, while the children attend the school we helped establish. Their oldest daughter recently qualified for our scholarship program, joining 300+ students who now have access to education.

Hope Home: A Safe Haven for Orphans
In partnership with local organizations, we fund Hope Home – a children's shelter for orphans of the Sudan conflict. Currently, 32 children call this place home.
The home provides shelter, food, trauma counseling, and education. Many of these children lost everything, but at Hope Home, they find safety, love, and the chance to be children again. All 32 children attend school through our support, and 3 of our 17 international university students first came from Hope Home.

From Darfur to Canada: James's Journey
James grew up in Kakuma refugee camp after his family fled South Sudan. Despite immense challenges, he excelled in school through our scholarship program. When his grades placed him among our top 17 performers, we sponsored his full tuition to a university in Canada.
Today, James is studying engineering and mentoring other scholarship students back home. He represents the pinnacle of our mission: immediate aid that leads to long-term transformation.
